We picked up a train in Calicut to Cochin where we spent the next morning site seeing. The Chinese fishing nets were pretty cool, although the fishing seems to be very slow right now. The fishermen said it was still due to the Tsunami a year ago.

Cochin
We left Vythiri and headed down to the coast. We came to a place in the road where it said 12 km downhill. The view was spectacular, but the drive down was a bit scary. Having steep hill and switchbacks did not stop drivers from passing each other!
We picked up a train in Calicut to Cochin where we spent the next morning site seeing. The Chinese fishing nets were pretty cool, although the fishing seems to be very slow right now. The fishermen said it was still due to the Tsunami a year ago.
